Climate Change

Climate change is one of the biggest threat and main challenge that our mother earth faces today. Studies on climate change show that there will be irreversible process if the temperature of the earth rises by two degree then the normal pre-industrial level.

The human contribution to the global climate change is the burning of fossil fuels like coal, gas, and oil. All these fossil fuels contain carbon which on burning releases carbon dioxide.

Burning of fossil fuels has been started from early 1800s and as per day the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been increased by 30%. This has led to the rise in the average global temperature from 1�F to 2�F.

In order to fight the climate change and to decrease the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere jatropha can be a good solution. Biodiesel produced from jatropha oil has a potential effect to reduce the hunger of carbon dioxide and to fight against the global climatic change.

In order to get the full benefit of the jatropha one million hectares of jatropha plants have to been grown every year. The industries that use the jatropha and its products are ready to prove the promising advantages of using jatropha. Principally the airline industry is awfully fascinated in using the jatropha based jet fuel to develop their carbon track.

Many investors are eager to invest on jatropha crop realizing the high demand of the jatropha oil. Planting more sustainable and smart crops like jatropha will not only help to fight the climate change but is also has in the greenhouse effect and increases the income of a family.
